Huge Shark (2021)

Seriously? The title of this flick is Huge Shark? That’s it? Huge Shark? Fuggin’ awesome! How can I resist?

So as you might have guessed, this movie is about a huge shark. A huge hungry shark.

Chinese flick, barely an hour long. Opening sequence reveals some SyFy level CGI, so I’m not expecting much.

Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary about this one. Some young adults go off on a day trip on a big yacht, some of them end up in the water and end up as fish food. Eventually, all of them end up in the water one way or another, and with the odds against them and blood in the water, in the middle of the ocean, they must find a way back to safety.

So ya, I don’t know what the Chinese equivalent of SyFy Network is, but I’m sure this one found a home there. Some lame dramatic BS at the beginning and in the middle. But without those scenes, this one wouldn’t have even made it to an hour.

This is an utterly ridiculous movie, not meant to be taken seriously. Just another super cheap-o trying to ride the coattails of all the other recent shark movies. Acting is not good, but the lead woman is OK.
